Hey, as long as you do not generate it at every re-render, it should be fine. I would still not recommend it.

If you generate a bunch of those at the same time there is a probability that you get a collision of IDs. NanoID is small, fast, and solves the problem completely, I still think it's the best way to generate IDs.
